The intent is to foster discussion about research needs, and improve communication and collaboration both among scientists and between scientists and managers. This meeting, to be held on the UC Berkeley campus, is partially supported by the California Biodiversity Center. The web page provides registration information and the call for abstracts, as well as information about a California grasslands Listserv. http://cbc.berkeley.edu/manplan/index.html Protected in the 1930's and gifted to the Nature Conservancy by Heath and Margorie Angelo in 1959, the Angelo Coast Range Reserve has been a part of the UC Natural Reserve System since 1994. The California Biodiversity Center has recently sponsored the production of a draft management plan for the reserve. The document is available online and contains information on the past, present, and future of the reserve with extensive appendices including species lists for the reserve and a publication list.
